Challenge

When Prudential California Realty approached Ceive, they already had a website that offered users many tools to enhance their home buying experience, but users had expressed frustration with the process of using these tools. The site required users to take multiple steps to execute a basic home search, offering loads of information, but giving little thought to usability.

Solution

Ceive's first step in solving these challenges was to work with Prudential to establish a unified brand presence, beginning with a fresh digital strategy. A key element of this new brand presence was the reinvention of the site's central brand representative, the 'Home Detective.' Additionally, Ceive reviewed and re-architected all of the content on the site to create a more intuitive path for users to access relevant tools and information offered. We also streamlined the Home Detective Express Search from 4 steps to a simpler 2-step process, encouraging user 'buy-in' by offering quicker search results; the advanced version of the Home Detective Search was expanded to allow a wider field range and a deeper filter-set for sorting search results.
